Turku Market Hall is filled with international atmosphere on Turku Day!

Celebrations of Turku Day will receive a special addition in 2024, when Turku Market Hall exceptionally opens its doors on Sunday 15th of September from 12 to 16 o’clock. On the third Sunday of September, the Market Hall is filled with a cheerfully colorful program as the hall celebrates not only Turku Day but also National Day of Mexico.

Located right in the center of Turku, the Market Hall is an iconic landmark of the city. The hall’s opening hours on Sunday 15th of September from 12 to 16 provide a good opportunity for visitors to enjoy the historical atmosphere of the Market Hall and its diverse offering in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the Turku Day.  

The Market Hall adds a special international atmosphere to the local event, as this year the hall also celebrates The National Day of Mexico. In addition to the traditional services of the Market Hall, a variety of international programs are available to visitors. The guest will be Mexican Ambassador Enrique Rojo and Mayor of Turku Minna Arve. In addition, live music is heard in the hall’s foodcourt and the hall’s companies make special dishes inspired by Mexica cuisine.
